The Hong Kong Softball Association invited us to create the brand identity design for their international championships. Since the competition welcomed several Asian cities, the client needed a professional and dynamic system that conveyed both the scale of the event and the spirit of the sport. The goal was to inspire participants, engage audiences, and reinforce HKSA’s reputation as a trusted organizer.

 

We began by developing a strong and versatile event identity design that set the foundation for all collaterals. This included posters, brochures, and event tickets. Each piece was carefully structured to deliver essential details in a clear and accessible way. At the same time, we used bold graphics and energetic motifs to capture the excitement of the championships.

 

The campaign featured two separate tournaments—the Men’s Open Softball Championship and the Men’s Ball Championship. Therefore, our brand identity design had to differentiate between the two while maintaining cohesion. To achieve this balance, we introduced distinct color palettes and graphic treatments for each tournament. Meanwhile, consistent typography, layout principles, and brand tone kept the two events visually connected under one umbrella identity.

 

As a result, audiences could easily recognize each tournament while still experiencing a unified championship atmosphere. Moreover, the event identity design created a seamless experience for fans and participants, guiding them through every stage from early promotion to on-site engagement.

 

Finally, the bright visual identity system gave the championships strong visibility and memorable. Posters attracted attention from the industry, brochures informed attendees with clarity, and tickets served as keepsakes that reinforced the HKSA brand. Altogether, the event identity design delivered clarity, impact, and memorability, successfully elevating the international competition to a higher standard.
